Application of Learning Modeling Model The Way In Science Learning Student Class V SDN 14 Laban District IV JuraiKabuaptenPesisir Selatan

Abstrak

Learning outcomes have an important role in the learning process. For that teachers have to design and choose a model of learning that can affect student learning outcomes for the better. One of the learning model that is expected to influence student learning outcomes to be better is model learning Modeling The Way. Istarani (2011: 213)suggests the learning model Modeling The Way is a "learning model that allows learners to practice specific skills learned in demonstration classes".
The type of this research is Experimental Research. The population of this research is all students of class V SDN SDN 14 Laban Subdistrict IV Jurai Pesisir Selatan Regency Academic Year 2016/2017 as many as 36 students. To determine the experiment class and the control class is taken in total sampling. The determination of experimental class and control class was done randomly, so that the class V A was obtained as an experimental class with students number 18 students and class V B as control class with 18 students. The data in this study were obtained by giving the final test to the two sample classes.
This study aims to prove whether the results of science learning students using Application Modeling Learning The Way is better than the results of science learning students using conventional methods in class V SDN 14 Laban. The results showed that the study of science in the experimental class is 82,5 and the control class is 72,22. Data were analyzed using SPSS software version 17,0. Data were analyzed using SPSS software version 17,0. Based on the data analysis, the probability / significance sig = 0,157 with a real level of 0,05 means the probability / significance of sig is greater than 0,05 so that hypothesis H0 is rejected and H1 hypothesis is accepted.
So it can be concluded that there are differences in science learning outcomes between conventional methods with the application of model learning modeling the way class V SDN 14 Laban District IV Jurai Pesisir Selatan Regency. Seeing the results of science learning by using the application of learning model
modeling the way gives better results than the conventional learning model, then the teacher should be able to use this learning model in the learning process in the future.
