PENINGKATAN PARTISIPASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPS MELALUI STRATEGI QUANTUM TEACHING DI SDSN 06 KAMPUNG LAPAI PADANG
Abstrak
This research is motivated by the lack of student participation in class IV SDSN 06 Kampung Lapai, Padang on learning social studies. This is caused by tend teachers use lecture and question and answer, and often teachers do not use the media in the learning process less enjoyable. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in student participation in group discussions, presentations, making inferences with Quantum Teaching Strategies in SDSN 06 Kampung Lapai, Padang. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research instrument used in this study is the observation sheet student participation, teacher observation sheet of activity, test sheets. The results showed that the participation of students has increased. The average percentage of participation in the discussions on the first cycle is 45.31% increase to 89.73% in the second cycle, the participation in the presentation of the first cycle is 26.56% increase to 77.35% in the second cycle, participation in making conclusions in the first cycle is 23.48% increase to 74.99%. Based on the results of the data analysis, it was concluded that the use of Quantum Teaching strategies can improve student participation in the fourth grade social studies. From the results of this study suggested for teachers to implement strategies Quantum Teaching in other subject areas.
