PENINGKATAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PKn DENGAN STRATEGI THE POWER OF TWO DI SD NEGERI 02 KAMPUNG OLO
Abstrak
The problem in this research contents is about the low of students’s interest in learning because the teacher just use speech method in teaching, so the students felt bored in teaching learning process. The aim of this reasearch is to find out the effect of the Power of Two Strategy in improving students’ interest in teaching learning of PKn. The kind of this research is the classrom action research which was conducted in two cycles. The subject of this research is IV grades with total number of students 20. The instrumentation of this research are observation of teacher’s teaching process, students’s interest in learning, and the scores of students’ test in the second cycle. Based on the result, gained the persentage average at the first cycle of students’s interest in asking 49,99% improve at the second cycle being 80,76%, answering question 48,51% being 80,76%, and do assigment 73,07% being 88,45%. The avarege of study result at the first cycle is 65,76 being 77,11 in second cycle. It means, the indicator target in this research is reached by using The Power of Two Strategy in improving students’s interest IV grades. Based on the result of the research, the researcher hope the teacher use The Power of Two Strategy to improve students’s interest in learning PKn.
