MENINGKATKAN PARTISIPASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS Vc MELALUI MODEL SNOWBALL THROWING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PKn DI SD KARTIKA 1-10 PADANG
Abstrak
This research is based on low partisipation of students in study PKn, such as partisipation in question, question answer, and question respon. It is caused by the study which still convensionally that make the students have low participation. To solve this action by using snowball throwing model. The purpose of this research is to improve the learning participation of PKn at class Vc SD Kartika1-10 Padang. The collection of data is done by observation technic and by using observation sheet of students participation and also the teacher activity which is support by field note, the last is picture. Kind of this research is the class action research. The first cycle is done twice meeting on april 2, april 16 and the final cycle is on april 18. The second cycle is on april 23, april 30, and the final cycle is on mei 1 2013. The result of research shows that snowball throwing model can improve the teacher activity and the students participation. On the first cycle, the average of teacher activity is 69,1% and increase on the second cycle, it is 88,3%, while the average of students paticipation is 52,4% and increase on the second cycle, it is 80,4%. As supporter, the researcher also looks the result of the students learning based on the final cycle test. On the first cycle, the total percentage of students learning is reach 57,1% and increase on the second cycle, it is 75%.
