PENINGKATAN MINAT, PARTISIPASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA MELALUI MODEL ARTIKULASI DI SDN 15 LANSANO KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN

Abstrak

The  research was motivated  by  a  lack  of  interest,  student  participation  in  science  teaching
fourth  grade  at  SDN  15 Lansano  South Coastal District. The  purpose  of  the  study  is  1)  to
increase  the participation of students  in asking, 2)  to  increase the participation of students  in
answering questions, 3) to increase student participation in discussions. This type of research
the researchers used in the study was classroom action research (CAR). Subjects in the study
were fourth grade students of SDN 15 Lansano South Coastal District were 30 students. The
research  instrument  used  is  the  use  of  sheet  questionnaire  research  interests,  sheet  student
participation and teacher observation sheet activities. Based on the survey results revealed that
the average percentage of student participation ask that 54.99% in the first cycle increased to
81.66% in the second cycle, students' desire to answer the question that is 58.33% in the first
cycle increased to 83.33% on the second cycle, and discuss student participation is 63.33% in
the first cycle  increased  to 96.66%  in  the second cycle. The final conclusion  is  that  learning
science  through  articulation  models  can  improve  students'  interest  and  participation  in
particular the participation of students in asking, answering questions, and discussions in class
IV SDN 15 Lansano South Coastal District. Based on  the  results of  the  study,  teachers are
advised  to apply well-articulated models  in science  teaching  in accordance with  the material
being taught.
