PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV A DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PKn MELALUI STRATEGI ACTIVE DEBATE DI SDN 17 LUBUK ALUNG KABUPATEN PADANG PARIAMAN

Abstrak

This  research  is  motivated  by  the  low  activity  of  students  learning  civics,  such  as
activities  in  asking,  answering  questions,  and  making  decisions.  This  is  due  to  the  still
conventional learning which resulted in low student activity. To overcome the action by using
the strategy of active debate. The purpose of  this research  is  to improve  the  learning activity
in the fourth grade Civics A 17 Lubuk Alung SDN. Data was collected through observation of
student activities and teacher activities using observation sheet activities and the activities of
teachers  and  students  are  supported  by  field  notes,  along with  the  photo.  This  research  is
action  research,  using  quantitative  and  qualitative  approach, which  is  done  collaboratively
between researchers with the observer. Cycle I held two meetings on March l8, March 25 and
the  final  test cycle on April 1, 2013. Cycle  II held  two meetings on December 8 April, 15
April,  and  the  final  test  cycle  on  April  22,  2013  in  the  SDN  17  Lubuk  Alung.
The  results  showed  that  active  debate  strategy  can  increase  the  activity  of  students.  In  the
cycle of  the 32% and an  increase  in  the second cycle  is 80%. As a supporter of  researchers
also noticed by the end of the test cycle, the first cycle of 60% and an increase in the second
cycle is 80%.
