PENINGKATAN PARTISIPASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IVC MELALUI STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN AKTIF TEKA-TEKI SILANG PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SD KARTIKA 1-10 PADANG
Abstrak
The research was distributed by the low participation of students resulting in a lowlearning outcomes. As for how to resolve the issue by using active learning strategy
crossword puzzles (CROSSWORD). The research was distributed by the low participation of
students so that the outline of the research problem was how to enhance the participation of
student learning classes through IVC active learning strategies in learning math crosswords
elementary school KARTIKA 1-10 PADANG. The purpose of this research is to increase the
participation of students in learning mathematics through active learning strategy crossword
puzzles. This type of research is research conducted in class actions, collaborative, into three
cycles, each cycle consisting of two times. The subject of research is the grade IVC, totaling
32 people. Research instrument used in the study is observational teacher performance sheet,
sheets of test results and student participation in learning the value of students. Based on the
results of the study, the cycle I teacher activity achieved an average of 74,68% to cycle II
increased to 77,50% and cycle III increased to 83,90%. The average student participation
cycle observation I 63,27% cycle II increased 71,08% and cyclical III increased to 74.99%.
Judging from the average student learning outcomes tests end of cycle I and cycle II 74.68
escalated 48.2 and cycle IIIÂ increased to 83,90. Thus it can be concluded the participation of
student learning can be enhanced through active learning strategy crossword puzzles at
elementary school students.
