PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA MELALUI STRATEGI QUESTION STUDENTS HAVE DIKELAS IV SDN 30 TIMBULUN KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN
Abstrak
The background of this research is the lack in student’s motivation in questioning, answering, arguing, material observation, and group activity. This problem causing student’s learning outcomes to become lower. Based on the background, the problem formulation is how to increase student’s motivation and learning outcomes in IPA subject through ‘question student have’ strategy in I grades SDN 30 Timbulun Pesisir Selatan regency. The purpose of this research is to describe student’s motivation and learning outcome in IPA subject through ‘question student have’ strategy. This research is class measuring research with two cycles. Subject in this research is 15 students. Instruments in this research are observation sheet of student’s motivation, teacher’s activity and learning outcome. Based on research, average student’s motivation in first cycle of research is 62.49%; it is climb into 81.24% in second cycles. Average percentage of learning completeness in first cycle is 61.5%; it is climb into 92.85% in second cycles. From the research, it can be concluded that learning of IPA subject through ‘question student have’ strategy can increase motivation and learning outcomes of students. It is suggested that teacher can use ‘question student have’ strategy in IPA learning to increase motivation and learning outcomes.
