PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA SEKILAS DENGAN PENDEKATAN ACCELERATED LEARNING BAGI SISWAKELAS V SD NEGERI 02 TIMBALUN KECAMATANBUNGUS TELUK KABUNG KOTA PADANG
Abstrak
This study exposed their lack of ability to read at a glance. This is known because the teacher does not use the right approach on student learning and teacher does not attempt to show the class what is not known to the students so that students could not understand. To resolve the above issue, researchers provide solutions using Accelerated Learning approach. This study aims to describe the increased capability of skimming on stage pre-reading, when read, and reading pasca. This type of research this is a class action Research (PTK). The subject of this research is the grade v. research instrument used is the observation sheet activity observation sheet activities of teachers, students. The results showed that the increased ability of skimming in the stage prabaca on cycle I the amount of score 38 with the percentage increasing at the cyclical 21,11% II jmlah score 49 with percentage of 27.22%. The ability to read at a glance stages when read on a cycle I the amount of score 35 with the percentage increasing at 19.44%, cycle II number of score 51 with percentage 28,33%. The ability to read at a glance pascabaca stage in the cycle of I number of score 37 20,55% percentage increases with the number of cycle II 52 with percentage of 28,88%. In addition, the final test results of students on a cycle I gained an average of 63,50 test values with percentage of 30%. Increase in cycle II with an average test scores with 79.50 percentage of 85%. Results of these studies concluded that the approach to Accelerated Learning can improve the ability to read at a glance grade V SD Negeri 02 Timbalun Kecamatan Bungus Teluk Padang city.
