PENINGKATAN MINAT DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS III MELALUI PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN KONTEKSTUAL DI SD N 02 SUNGAI LIMAU PADANG PARIAMAN
Abstrak
This research is motivated by low interest in science learning outcomes and grade III SD N 02 River Lemons Pariaman. The purpose of this study is to increase interest in science and student learning outcomes. This research is a classroom action research is located at 02 River Lemons SDN Pariaman, third grade students study subjects totaling 17 people. The research was conducted in two cycles. The findings showed that the use of contextual approach can increase interest and hasi learn science.
The improvement can be seen from the average indicator of interest in the first cycle, for indicators A, B and D between the two meetings there is an increase of 3 indicators as much as 38.24% A, B and D as much as 55.86% and 61.77 whereas for C indicators are increasing by 4 people which is about 41.16%. In the classical average student interest as much as 50.25%. In the second cycle indicator of A there is an increase of 64.71%, while the indicator of B there is an increase of 76.59%, to C indicator there is an increase of 52.94% and the D indicator there is an increase of 85.29%. In the classical average student interest in the second cycle of 70%. Learning outcomes in the first cycle in the classical 7.65. While in the second cycle, students who pass the study there were 15 people (88.24%) and that has not been thoroughly studied only 2 people (11.76%), with an average value of 7.82 in the classical style. It can be concluded that the percentage of students passing grade from the first cycle to the second cycle increased by 11.77% Based on the findings of the above study concluded that, Contextual approach (CTL) can increase interest and achievement in science class III at SDN 02 Padang Pariaman Lemons River, and can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes.
