Abstrak

The purpose of this research is to describe the increasing of student’s VD enterest in study to make question, answer the question, give an opinion, and do the group discussion. The model of study that using in this research is Student Facilitator and Explaining. This model is one of models that given a chance to the learners to showing their ideas or opinion to the other learners. The increasing of the student’s interest in make the questions in first cycle  and second cycle is 37,09% to be 77,41%, the student’s interest in answer the question is 45,15% to be 70,96%, the student’s interest in make an opinion is 53,22% to be 80,64%, and the student’s interest to do the group discussion is 62,90% to be 90,31%. the effect of increasing of the students’s interest in science is from the result, the value of increasing average classically is 66 in first cycle to be 76 in second cycle. The result of this research is, there are increasing of students’s interest anf the result of student’s learning. Because of that, for the teacher and the researchers to use Student facilitator and Explaining’s model as one of the solution in science to increase the student’s interest and the result of student’s learning.
