PENINGKATAN PROSES DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS MELALUI METODE INKUIRI PADA SISWA KELAS IV SDN 28 KINALI PASAMAN BARAT

Abstrak

The research aims to describe the process and learning outcomes improved fourth grade students of SDN 28 Kinali through the inquiry method in teaching social studies. This research is a classroom action research conducted collaboratively teacher. The study was conducted in two cycles. Based on the research, student learning outcomes in the first cycle of students the percentage of completeness was 44% and the average value is 65.6, meaning the percentage of completeness of students in the first cycle has not reached the target percentage of completeness is 66%. While in the second cycle, the percentage of student mastery is 84% and the average value was 80.1. From the comparison of the two cycles, there is an increase of 40%. Concluded that the IPS learning method can improve the process of inquiry and student learning outcomes. Researchers suggest that teachers apply when using the inquiry method of learning media, so as to improve students' mastery and understanding in order to improve student learning outcomes.
