PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV DALAM KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA DENGAN STRATEGI DIRECT INSTRUCTION DI SDN 16 SUNGAI PUTIH KECAMATAN BAYANG
Abstrak
The purpose of this research is to know whether the strategy of direct instruction can improvereading skills of students motivation in learning Indonesian Language. The research is the
research action class. The subject of this research grade IV totalling 15 people. Research
instrument this is a sheet of observation activities, teacher observation sheet learning
motivation of students, student motivation, and now the test results of student learning.
Results of the research cycle I gained an average score percentages 56,66 motivation students
read the%, responding to teacher statements 56,66% and summing up lessons 56,66%. In
cycle II, the average percentage of students reading engagement score increased to 73,33%,
responding to teacher statements 73,33% and summing up the lessons of 76,66%. The average
student learning outcomes ketuntasan cycle I is 53.33%, while on cycle II ketuntasan the
average results of student learning is 80%. This means the target indicator in the study
successfully achieved and the implementation of Indonesian Language learning with Direct
Instruction strategy underway properly.
