Abstrak

Action research has been done in fourth grade Padang District 13 Surau Tower, motivated by low interest, learning outcomes, learning is centered on the teacher, and the models are not appropriate instructional media. The purpose of research is to describe the increased interest and learning outcomes of students in learning civics Strategy Through True or False in SDN 13 Padang. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. Sabjek of this study is the fourth grade students of SDN 13 Padang, which amounts to 33 people. Research instrument used was a questionnaire sheet student, teacher activity sheets, and student learning outcomes. Based on the research that has been done can be seen that the average percentage of interest of all indicators in the first cycle was 48.70% and the second cycle was 82.82%. implementation of teacher learning cycle I obtained 69.99% score. In the second cycle 86.66% score obtained. The percentage of students passing grade the first cycle, 45.16%. Cycle II, 78.78%. has increased by 33.62%. From the results obtained it can be concluded that by using the strategy of learning civics True or Falsedapat increase interest and learning outcomes of the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 13 Surau Gadang Padang.
