THE IMPROVEMENT OF STUDENT INTEREST IN LEARNING AT GRADE IVa IN SOCIAL SCIENCE LEARNING BY USING LEARNING MODEL COURSE REVIEW HORAY AT SD NEGERI 03 KOTO BARU SIMALANGGANG 50 KOTA REGENCY
Abstrak
The background of this research is less of students’ interest in learning. It can be seen by just a little of students who give a question about the lesson, and also most of students come out and come in of the class and then they were talking with their friend while the teacher explained about the lesson so they ignore the question from teacher. The aim of this research is to find out the effect of the Course Review Horary Model in improving students’ interest in teaching learning of social scince. This reaserch is experimental research. Then, sample of this research is IVa grades with total number of students 20. The instrumentation of this research are observation of teacher’s teaching process, students’s interest in learning, questionnaire, and the scores of students’ test. Based on the result, gained the persentage average at the first cycle of students’s interest in asking 38,19% improve at the second cycle being 70%, answering question 82% being 85%, and discussion 64,5% being 70%. The avarege of study result at the first cycle is 74,5 being 81,25 in second cycle. It means, the indicator target in this research is reached by using Course Review Horary model in social scince teaching learning. Based on the result of the research, the researcher hope the teacher use Course Review Horary Model to improve students’s interest in learning social scince. Â
