Abstrak

This research is backgrounded by the number of student learning outcomes under completeness minimum criteria (KKM). Teacher still use lecture methods in learning that still centered on the teacher. Students are less understand of the material that have been submitted. Student are less active in learning process, ability to think and the responsility of studens in make the task is still low. The resear is purpose to know the effect of Numbered Head Together (NHT) model toward students result of learning IPS class IV in SD 01 Sabbihisma Kota Padang.
The type of this research is experimental research. The subjects of the study werw students of grade IVA which number of 26 students and the IVB which 24 students. The instrument of this research is the test result sheet and the learning test of IPS.
Based on the average experimental class learning outcomes 86,15 and control class 79,37. Based on t test analysis learning outcomes show that thitung amount 2,40 and value ttabel amount 2,012. t value bigger than t table then H0 rejected and H1 be acceptedmeaning there is influence which occurs in the learning process using the learning model Numbered Head Together (NHT) against the experimentak class and control class.
From this study can be concluded than learning model Numbered Head Together (NHT) effect on learning outcomes class IV SD 01 Sabbihisma Kota Padang. So that the model can be applied to achieve learning outcomes optimal in the school.
