Abstrak

Education is a process of human interaction between education and students to achieve educational goals. The process takes place in a particular environment by using various actions called educational tools. In improving the quality of education, the Indonesian government has carried out improvements to the education system, both at the Elementary, Middle School and Higher Education levels. The Nature of Social Sciences Trianto (2012: 173) states that it is expected to gain an understanding of a number of concepts and develop and train their attitudes, values, morals, and skills based on the concepts already possessed. The use of models in the learning process has significant significance. Learning models are plans or concepts to help students in the learning process and understand learning easily. By using a model in learning, it will help eliminate students' boredom in receiving lessons. One of them is by using the head learning model with the number structure in social studies learning.
This type of research is experimental research. Experiments can be interpreted as research methods used to find out the effect of certain treatments on others under controlled conditions.
The average of the final test results of students in the experimental class is 80.00 and the control class is 75.91 with the Hypothesis Test level obtained t count> t table where (12.02> 2.00), as evidenced by the significant level (a) = 0 05 this means that there are significant differences in social studies learning outcomes of students who use the head learning model with the number structure of the social studies learning outcomes of third grade students in SD Negeri 21 Lubuk Lintah.
Based on the results of the research obtained, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the learning model of the head with a structural number on the social studies learning outcomes of third grade students in SD Negeri 21 Lubuk Lintah. So that the model can be applied and developed to achieve optimal social studies learning outcomes at the school.
