Abstrak

Education is one of the determining factors in efforts to improve human resources. Education always strives for human life towards a better and necessary life in the future. In improving the quality of education, the Indonesian government has carried out improvements to the education system, both at the Elementary, Middle School and Higher Education levels. The nature of Zuraik Social Sciences (IPS) (in Susanto, 2013: 37) The nature of social studies is the hope to be able to foster a good society where members really develop as a rational and responsible social person. The use of models in the learning process has significant significance. Learning models are plans or concepts to help students in the learning process and understand learning easily. By using a model in learning, it will help eliminate students' boredom in receiving lessons. One of them is by using a scramble learning model in social studies learning. This type of research is experimental research. According Sugiyono (2009: 72) states that "experimental research is carried out in a laboratory while naturalistic / qualitative research is carried out in natural conditions. In experimental research there is treatment (treatment), while in naturalistic research there is no treatment ". The average final test results of students in the experimental class 80.00 and control class 72.83 with the Hypothesis Test level obtained thitung> t table where (3.22> 1.66), as evidenced by the significant level (a) = 0.05 this means there are significant differences in social studies learning outcomes of students who use a scramble learning model on social studies learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 43 Dadok Tunggul Hitam Padang. Based on the research results obtained by eating it can be concluded that there is an effect of scramble learning model on social studies learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 43 Dadok Tunggul, Koto Tangah District, Padang. So that the model can be applied and developed to achieve optimal social studies learning outcomes at the school. Keywords: Scramble Learning Model, Learning Outcomes.
