The application Practice Rehearsal Pairs method in learning of IPA students of class V SD Negeri 17 Batu Gadang

Abstrak

This research is backgrounded by in the learning process of center teachers only. The student not active in the group discution until learning result low. The research aims to describe the difference on the learning outcomes of IPA between student group to study applying Practice Rehearsal Pairs learning with student group  to study applying convensional learning students of class V SD Negeri 17 Batu Gadang of academic year 2018/2019.

The formulation of the problem in this research is how the student learning result to used Practice Rehearsal Pairs method end to use convensional learning of class V SD Negeri 17 Batu Gadang?. The theory used in this research is science learning proposed by Sapriati (2002) and Suharmanik (2014), and the Practice Rehearsal Pairs method proposed by Istarani (2012) and  Zaini (2008).

The type of the research is experimental research. The method of the research is Practice Rehearsal Pairs. The results showed that there was a significant difference of learning results IPA students between to application Practice Rehearsal Pairs learning with learning results IPA students to application convensional learning. This can be proven from the value learning results (experiment = 82,13 > control = 72,58) and from the results hypothesis test by using t-test is obtained thitungis higher than t(0,05,24)  (thitung = 2,748 > t(0,05,24) = 2,014).

Based on the results of research The application Practice Rehearsal Pairs method in learning of IPA students of class V SD Negeri 17 Batu Gadang, can be used in the learning process. The researcher's suggestion is that the teacher can be application Practice Rehearsal Pairs method in learning process.
