Influence Application of Learning Model Students Facilitator And Explanation Of Science Results Class V SD Negeri 51 Kuranji Padang
Abstrak
Education is an important means to improve the quality of human resourcesin ensuring the sustainability of development of a nation and state. According
Syahril (2009: 15) states "that education is the interaction between educators with
learners in achieving educational goals". In school education is a formal
institution that has responsibility and authority in conducting education based on
curriculum on the subject of natural science and some other subjects needed
teacher creativity. Based on observations and interviews in SDN 51 Kuranji
Padang in learning, teachers tend to use lecture method then less effective
learning, so that the effort done by the researcher in overcoming the problem is
applying student learning model facilitator and explaining in science learning
process. This study aims to determine the effect of application of learning models
student facilitator and explaining the results of science learning Class V SD
Negeri 51 Kuranji Padang.
This type of research is experimental research with design†posttes-only
control desainâ€. The population in this study consisted of all students of class V
SD Negeri 51 Kuranji Padang in the academic year 2017/2018 which amounted to
40 students. Techniques in sampling is done by total sampling. The sample in this
research is the students of VA class as many as 20 students and students of VB
class as many as 20 students. The determination of experimental class and control
class is done by random. Data analyzed in this study is the score of science
learning outcomes in the cognitive domain that is collected through objective
tests.
The results showed the average value of experimental class is higher than
the control class. In the experimental class the average score is 83 while in the
control class the average value is 76. In statistical test of tcount> ttable (0,05,3825)
where (2,245> 2,025) with level (α = 0,05 hypothesis H1 diteima which mean
there is influence of applying student learning model facilitator and explaining to
result of learning science class V SDN 51 Kuranji paadang.
From the data, it can be concluded that the learning model of student
facilitator and explaining have an effect on the result of science learning of class
V SD Negeri 51 Kuranji Padang. So that this model can be applied and developed
to achieve the learning outcomes of science in obtimal school.
