This research is motivated by the lack of students' interest in following theprocess of learning so that makes the students' learning outcome low. The low
students' learning outcome requires teachers to improve the learning process. One
of the ways to improve the learning process is by applying Role Playing learning
model. This research aims to find out the influence of Role Playing learning to V
grade students' Indonesian language learning outcome in State Elementary School
27 Olo West Padang District.
The type. of this research is experimental research by. using true
experimental design that is Posttest-Only Control Design. The population of this
research is all V grade students of State Elementary School 27 Olo West Padang
District with the sampling technique used is Total Sampling. The determination of
the experimental class and control class is done by lottery, so that the class V A is
chosen as an experimental class with 20 students and class V A as control class
with the total is 11 students. The instruments of the research are learning outcome
test, attitude assessment, and assessment of drama skill.
Based on cognitive data analysis, it is obtained that tcount = 2,41 and
ttable = 2,04 that is tcount > ttable, then the hypothesis is accepted, the attitude
assessment of experimental class = 75%, control class = 48,48% and the data for
drama skill tcount = 2,37 dan ttable = 2/04 which is tcount >ttable, so the
hyphothesis is accepted. Based on the result of the analysis, it can be concluded
that the influence of Role Playing learning model gives positive influences to
cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning outcome of students from class V A
