The Influence of Implementation of Jigsaw Type Co-operative Model on Students Learning Outcomes of VII Grade V SD Negeri 09 Surau Gadang
Abstrak
Mathematics is one of the compulsory subjects taught in schools. The subjects of mathematics must be understood and understood by students ranging from primary to secondary level even college level, the success of students in learning is determined from several factors, including internal factors and external factors. However, based on observations in SDN 09 Surau Gadang, the model used by teachers in the learning process is the lecture and question and answer method. Therefore, one of the solutions to improve student learning outcomes, namely by using Jigsaw type cooperative model in the process of learning Mathematics.The type of research used is experimental research with the population of this study is all students of class V SDN 09 Surau Gadang as many as 45 students. Which is divided into two rombel, namely class VA and Class VB. Sampling technique in this research by Total Sampling, then by using random sampling technique got VA class as experiment class and class VB as control class. The data analyzed in this study is the score of mathematics learning outcomes on cognitive aspects collected through objective tests.
The result of data analysis with hypothesis test using t-test, obtained tcount = 2,3892 and ttable = 1,6807, so thitung> ttabel so that H1 accepted and H0 rejected which means that there is influence of Jigsaw model cooperative model to student learning result V SDN 09 Surau Gadang. The results of the research conducted in the experimental class and the control class were obtained on average 87,11 in the experimental class while 78,75 in the control class.
Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that there is influence of Jigsaw type cooperative model implementation toward the learning result of VII students of SDN 09 Surau Gadang, so that this model can be applied and developed to achieve optimal learning result in the school.
