Influence Learning Model Think Pair and Share To The Result Of Learning Indonesian on Students of Grade V of at Sekolah Dasar Negeri 15 Sungai Geringging Padang Pariaman

Abstrak

This research is motivated by the number of student learning outcomes under Minimum Exhaustiveness Criteria (KKM). Teachers tend to use the lecture method in the learning process that is only emphasizing on memorization and looking for one correct answer to the questions given. Students are still difficult to speak in front of the class because of lack of confidence to express opinions. This study aims to see the effect of Think Pair and Share (TPS) learning model on Indonesian language learning result especially speaking skill of grade V SDN 15 Sungai Geringging Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. The theory used in this research is the theory of Indonesian learning proposed by Iskandarwassid (2011), the theory of speech skills proposed by Tarigan (2008), and Abidin (2012), learning outcomes proposed by Sudjana (2010) and Hamalik (2010), conventional learning theory proposed by Djamarah (2010) Think Pair and Share presented by Abidin (2017) and theory about the style proposed by Trianto (2012) and Istarani (2012).

The type of research is experimental research. Research subjects are VA class students with 25 students and grade V B with 25 students. The instrument of this research is the result of speaking ability and result of result of learning test of Indonesian language.

Based on the average speaking ability of the experimental class is 87.6 and the control class is 67.3. Based on t test analysis of learning result of Indonesian indicate that t value count 5,139 and significance value 0,000. The value of t arithmetic greater than t table or significant value smaller than 0.05 then H0 rejected and H1 accepted means there is a significant difference in post test group experimental results with the control group.

From this research, it can be concluded that the learning model of Think Pair and Share has an effect on the learning result of Indonesian class V SDN 15 Sungai Geringging Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Suggestions from the researchers are Based on the results and conclusions in this study, the authors have some suggestions, ie students are more focused in learning in order to more easily master the material by using the model of learning TPS, teachers must improve skills in teaching and choose learning strategies, for schools that result this research is expected to contribute ideas / thoughts that are useful for SD N 15 Sungai Geringging Padang Pariaman, and for researchers that can add new experiences and knowledge.
