The Influence Of Time Token Learning Model Toward The Learning Outcomes Of Civic Education Of Fifth Grade Students Of Public Elementary School 06 Luhak Nan Duo.
Abstrak
Education has an important role for a nation. Starting from success in the field of education, a nation will advance. According to Purwanto (2014:19) “ education is a means of inheriting life skills so that the skill that exist in a generation can be preserved and developed by the next generation in accordance with the dynamics of life challenges faced by childrenâ€. However, based on observation and interview at SDN 06 Luhak Nan Dou on learning, teachers tend to use lecture and question and answer methods so learning is less effective, so that the effort made by the researcher in overcoming these problems was applying the time token learning model in the learning process of citizenship education.
The definition of time token learning model according to Istarani (2011:194) is,“ Time Token is a structure used to teach social skills, to avoid students dominating the conversation or being silent.
The type of research used was experimental research with the population of this study was all students of SDN 06 Luhak Nan Duo and by using simple random sampling, obtained the sample classs that was the V-A class as the experimental class and V-B class as a control class. The data analyzed in this study were the results of learning in the cognitive domain of civic education.
The result of data analysis can be concluded that by using the –t, the data is obtained thitung = 3,11 and ttabel = 2,012, because thitung > ttabel then Ho reject and H1 accept.
Based on the results of the research obtained it can be concluded that there is an influence of the time token learning model on the learning outcomes of civic education in class V student at SDN 06 Luhak Nan Duo, so that the model can be applied and developed to achieve the optimal learning outcomes of civic education in the school.
