According to Hamalik (2005: 2) "education is a conscious effort to prepare students through guidance, teaching, or training activities for their future roles." The purpose of this study was to see differences in Civics learning activities and explain differences in Civics learning outcomes of students who learning using the Riview Horay Course learning model with conventional methods in third grade students at SD N 05 Alang Rambah Tapan Kabupaten Pesisir. So the efforts made by researchers in overcoming these problems by using the Course Review Horay model of learning in the Civics learning process.
This type of research is an experimental research with Riview Horay Course learning model with a population of all third grade students of SD N 05 Alang Rambah Tapan Coastal District consisting of 2 classes. Class III-B as an experimental class and class III-A as a control class. Hypothesis testing is done by t test because the data are normally distributed and homogeneous variants.
