Application of Cooperative Script Learning Model Against Motivation and Result of PKN Subject of III Grade in SDN 14 Sungai Sirah Sutera Pesisir Selatan.

Abstrak

Education in Elementary School (SD) is the first step of acquiring knowledge for students. One of the subjects studied by students in elementary school is Citizenship Education (PKN). Citizenship Education in elementary schools has a very important role in shaping Indonesian people, resulting in students who are creative, critical thinking, responsive and innovative. As explained by Kaelan (2007: 3) that "the main goal of Citizenship Education is to cultivate the state's awareness, and to form the attitude and behavior of love the homeland that is in the culture and philosophy of the Pancasila nation", but based on observations and interviews at SDN 14 Sungai Sirah Kecamatan Sutera Pesisir Selatan, the information obtained that motivation is low and the learning is still centered on the teacher by using the lecture and question and answer method, then the less effective learning so that the effort  by the researcher in overcoming the problem is applying Cooperative Script learning model in the learning process of PKn.

The type of research is experimental research with the population of this study are all students of 3rd class SDN 14 Sungai Sirah Kecamatan Sutera Pesisir Selatan year 2017/2018. While the sample of this research is the students of 3rd class SDN 14 Sungai Sirah Kecamatan Sutera Pesisir Selatan as many as 51 students divided into 2 classes named 3rd Class A and 3rd Class B, by using Total Sampling Technique. Obtained 3rd class A as control class and 3rd Class B as experiment class. The data analyzed in this study is a Motivational learning academic learning results questionnaire, collected through written test.

The result of data analysis with the average percentage of motivation is 82.32% in the experimental class and  66.76% in the controlling class. It can be differentiation of the motivation of the students in the class of the experimental control class. While the result of data and Test of hypothesis using t-test is obtained tcount = 1,71 and ttable = 1,69. So, tcount> ttable. Hence the hypothesis H1 accepted which means that there is influence of  Cooperative Script Learning Model to the results of PKN Learning in 3rd grade  SDN 14 Sungai Sirah Kecamatan Sutera Pesisir Selatan.

Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that there is a difference of students  learning motivation based on Cooperative Script learning model toward the learning result of PKN student of 3rd grade SDN 14 Sungai Sirah Kecamatan Sutera Pesisir Selatan, so that the model can be applied to achieve optimal PKnyang learning outcomes in the school.
