The Effect Of Word Square Model On The Learning Result Of Class III Theme Of The Penchantin SD Negeri 01 Batang Anai

Abstrak

The problems faced by teachers in the class III SD Negeri 01 BatangAnai in general is that the learning is still using three methods of lectures, questions and assignments so that students are less actively involved in the learning process.Minimum Exhaustiveness Criteriaestablished by the teacher is 75.For that teachers are expected to guide, direct, and stimulate students to be more active in following the lesson and obtain good learning outcomes. This study aims to see the effect of students' IPS learning outcomes on the theme of penchant using Word Square model in class III in SD Negeri 01 BatangAnai.               This type of research is experimental research. The population of this study were all students of class III SD Negeri 01 BatangAnai. The sample in this study amounted to 61 students conducted by simple random sampling technique. Instruments in this study is the score of learning outcomes IPS on the theme of the fondness collected through objective tests.               Based on the result of the research that has been done is obtained with the average value in the experimental class 84,70 and the control class 77,54. Result of hypothesis test by using t test which is done t counted = 2,159 and t table = 2,001. This means t counted> t table, where 2,159> 2,001 thus H 1 accepted that there is influence between learning result of IPS students using Word Square model with learning result of IPS students using conventional learning in class III theme penchant in SD Negeri 01 BatangAnai.               Based on the data analysis can be concluded that the Word Square model influences the learning outcomes of IPS students class III theme penchant at SD Negeri 01 BatangAnaiSuggestion from researcher is expected in third grade teacher in thematic learning to be able to use Word Square model because can achieve optimal learning result.
