Contribution of Flowing Muscle Power And Foot Eye Coordination On Down Service In Sepaktakraw Athletes Balai Baru Takraw Club

Abstrak

This research is motivated by the fact that there are still many sepaktakraw athletes at Balai Baru Takraw Club who lack the basic techniques of kicking well, especially when doing services tend to deviate and have no strength. This study aims to determine the contribution of leg muscle explosive power and ankle coordination to provide lower service for athletes in the Sepaktakraw Balai Baru Takraw Club. This type of correlational research, approach using quantitative methods. The population in this study were the sepaktakraw athletes at the Takraw Club New Hall with a sample of 20 people. The research variable consisted of leg muscle explosive power, ankle coordination and lower service. Data collection is done by giving a vertical jump test, ankle coordination test, and service test. Data analysis is done by multiple correlation analysis. The results of the study showed that the highest score of limb muscle explosive power of 51 was included in the still very low category. Athlete's ankle coordination obtained the highest score of 5.0, including in the category of very less. Leg muscle explosive power and ankle coordination contribute to lower service by 8.1225%, including in the very low category.
