Relationship between Achievement and Learning Motivation towards Science Learning Outcomes of Grade V Students of SDN 08 Surau Gadang Padang.
Abstrak
Various forms of innovation have been implemented, including: improving the curriculum, procurement of teaching materials, improving the quality of teacher learning by holding trainings so that teachers are more competent in teaching, teaching students to be better in the teaching and learning process. According to Susanto (2014: 85), education is an organized effort planned and takes place continuously throughout life to foster students to become complete, mature and cultured human beings. Based on observations conducted by researchers on February 14-16, 2018 in the VA and VB classes of SDN 08, Surau Gadang Padang was seen by several problems in the classroom, namely the beginning of the teacher's learning to go directly to the subject matter or discuss the assignments previously given. In addition, teachers still use the lecture method during learning and rarely use the media, only referring to existing resource books. The learning outcomes of many fifth grade students are below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) set at the school, especially on the results of learning Affective domains in science learning. Researchers want to find out whether there is a relationship between achievement and learning motivation towards student learning outcomes.              This study uses a qualitative descriptive research approach, where the method used emphasizes the process of data search or information until it is felt that it is sufficiently used to make an interpretation. The population in this study were students of VB SDN 08 Surau Gadang Padang with a population of 26 people. as many as 26 VB students with retrieval techniques using purposive sampling technique. The data analyzed in this study are achievement scores and learning motivation on students' affective domain learning outcomes collected through questionnaires.              Correlation Analysis Results between Learning Achievement (X1) 0.007 on learning outcomes (Y) r count is 0.792. Price of Learning Motivation Correlation Coefficient (X2) 0,007 on learning outcomes (Y) r count and Correlation Coefficient Learning outcomes are 0,373 with alpha 0,05. This means that the probability value is 0.373 Achievement and 0.007 <0.05. Motivation is alpha level <0.05, so Ho is rejected and HI is accepted. Thus it can be stated that there is a relationship between Achievement (X1) and Motivation (X2) on Student Learning Outcomes (Y) of SDN 08 Surau Gadang.Based on the results of the research that can be obtained, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between achievement and motivation of learning towards the science learning outcomes of Vb SDN 08 students in Surau Gadang Padang. Keywords: achievement, motivation for science learning outcomes.##submission.downloads##
