Abstrak

This research is motivated by low participation and student learning outcomes in science learning. The purpose of this study is to increase the participation and learning outcomes of students in class V SDN 11 Padang Pariaman District Six Lingkung using cooperative learning model clattering studs. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles, the subjects of this study were fifth grade students of SDN 11 Padang District Six Lingkung Pariaman, 28 in total. The research instrument used in this study is the observation sheet student participation, teacher observation sheets and test aspects of student learning outcomes. The results showed that the percentage of student participation in the first cycle is 40.48% increase to 64.28% in the second cycle. The average results of the students' science learning in the first cycle, the percentage of mastery learning 62.81, with percentage 37.03% increased to 81.78% with 78.57% percentage of mastery learning on the second cycle. Based on the obtained results it can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning model clattering studs can increase participation and student learning outcomes. Researchers suggest that teachers can implement cooperative learning model clattering studs in learning science well.
