PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBUAT PANTUN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA GAMBAR BAGI SISWA KELAS IV SDN 01 SINTOGA KABUPATEN PADANG PARIAMAN
Abstrak
Based on observation and interview in SDN 01 Sintogakabupaten padang pariamanregency, writer found a problem that is lack of student’s ability to write poetry that caused by teacher’s inability to give variation in learning process and teaching methods. Formulation of problem in this research is how to enhance student’s ability in pre-writing, writing, and post- writing of poetry through pictorial media. The advantage of this research is theoretically and practicality. The type of this research is class measuring research. Subject in this research is 34 students of IV grades. Instruments in this research are observation sheet of teacher’s activity and student’s activity, and student’s grade. From results show that average percentage for student’s grade is 68.1 with learning completeness is 37.5% in first cycle and average percentage for student’s grade in second cycles is 80 with learning completeness is 87.5%. From observation sheet analysis acquired that average percentage for teacher’s activity is 55% in first cycle and 85% in second cycles; average percentage for student’s activity is 60% in first cycle and 80% in second cycles. Based on results, it can be conclude that pictorial media can increase student’s ability in poetry writing. It is suggested to use pictorial media to increase student’s ability in poetry writing.
