PENINGKATAN PARTISIPASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPS MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN EVERYONE IS TEACHER HERE DI SD NEGERI 01 SICINCIN
Abstrak
This research was motivated by students' low participation, caused by the small numbers of student who ask a question, and teachers even do not use media in the learning process. It causes students' lack participation in the learning process, such as asking and answering question, and summarizing the subject material. The formulation of the problem in this research was how to increase participation in asking, and answering question, and summarizing the subject material in IPS learning process through "Everyone is Teacher Here" model. It was a class action research which was committed in two cycles. The subject of this research was fourth grade students of SD Negeri O1 Sicincin (state elementary school 01 sicincin) which amounts to 29 people. The instrument used in this research was the observation sheet of student participation, the observation sheet of the realization of teachers’ learning process, and the result of student test. The result of this research is students' participation on asking question in cycle 1 is 33, 51 %, and increases in cycle II to 74, 13 %, the increase is 40, 62 %, participation on answering question in cycle I is 35,3 % and increases in cycle II to 91, 37 %, the increase is 56, 07 %, and participation on summarizing the subject material in cycle I is 22, 24 %, and increases 70, 68%, the increase is 48, 44%. Those mean the realization of IPS learning process through "everyone is teacher here" model was committed successfully. Based on the result of this study, it is recommended that teachers use "everyone is teacher here" model to increase student participation in IPS learning process.
