The Influence of Group Investigation Type of Cooperative Learning Model on Creativity and Mathematics Learning Outcome, A Students grade V at SD Negeri 27 Pasar Kambang

Abstrak

Education is a process to influence the students to be able to adapt them to the environment, thus will cause changes in themselves to function actively in the life of the community (Hamalik, 2014: 79). Based on the observations at SD Negeri 27 Pasar Kambang , the students 'creativity in mathematics subjects is still lacking, there are still many students' mathematics learning outcomes under the KKM, during the learning the teacher had a lot of role in the class ranging from explaining the material to completing the sample questions. One solution to overcome these problems is that researchers use Group Investigation type cooperative learning models in the process of learning mathematics.

The research type used is experimental research. The population of this study is all students at SD Negeri 27 Pasar Kambang in the academic year 2017/2018. The samples of this study are 46 students in grade V at SD Negeri 27 Pasar Kambang, divided into 2 classes: VA and VB. The sample technique used is Total Sampling by drawing lots of VA class obtained as an experimental class and VB class as a control class. The data analyzed in this study is the creativity of student learning and scores of students' cognitive learning outcomes in mathematics.

The results obtained from the development of student creativity, it can be said to be quite good with a percentage of 30.14%. From the analysis of mathematics learning outcomes using t-test obtained >   = 3.40 and = 2.02, then the hypothesis is accepted that there is the effect of Group Investigation type cooperative learning model on mathematics learning outcomes of students in grade V of SD Negeri 27 Pasar Kambang.

Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Group Investigation learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of the students in grade V of SD Negeri 27 Pasar Kambang. Therefore, the Group Investigation learning model can be applied when doing a mathematics learning process.
