The Influence of the TANDUR Quantum Teaching Learning Model on Student Learning Outcomes in Social Studies Learning Class V SDN 24 Jati Gaung Padang
Abstrak
Social Sciences (IPS) subjects are one of the main subjects in the elementary education curriculum in Indonesia. In general, teachers only use the lecture method, question and answer, and assignment, it can be said that the learning model used by the teacher is a conventional learning model. To overcome these problems the researcher will use the TANDUR type Quantum Teaching learning model on social studies subjects in class V SDN 24 Jati Gaung Padang. Based on this, the researcher is interested in conducting an experimental study entitled "The Influence of Quantum Learning Models on Typical Type Teaching on Student Learning Outcomes in Social Studies Learning Class V SDN 24 Jati Gaung Padang".This type of research is experimental research with design “posttes-only control designâ€. The independent variable in this study is the TANDUR type Quantum Teaching learning model and conventional learning model, while the dependent variable is the IPS learning outcomes. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of Jati Gaung Padang Elementary School 24 in the 2017/2018 school year consisting of 2 classes. The sample in this study were VA students as many as 26 students and VB class students as many as 24 students. The data taken in this study were students' social studies learning outcomes obtained from the final test in an objective form.              To find out the results of the conclusions in the study, the data was previously processed first. whether the final test data is normally distributed and homogeneous. After the data is normally distributed and has a homogeneous variance, the t-test is carried out. From the calculation of the t-test, the results of the study showed that the average value of the experimental class was higher than the control class (the experimental class was 70.6 and the control class was 59.4). In the statistical test the price of tcount> t (0.05; 48) (2.14> 2.004) with the level (α = 0.05) then the hypothesis of H1 is accepted.              Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that there is an effect of the TANDUR type Quantum Teaching model on student social studies learning outcomes in class V SDN Jati Gaung Padang.
