Development of IPS Learning Media Based on Macromedia Flash 8 on Class V SD N 20 Kurao Pagang

Abstrak

Education is one of the most important needs obtained by humans.The implementation of educational goals is inseparable from aspects that encourage the achievement of learning objectives. One of the aspects of learning media. According to Ngure, et al. (2014: 5), "The media is considered the most efficient facilitators in the education set up". That the media is considered as the most efficient facilitator in education education. Several facts were found related to the learning process in elementary school, especially in social studies class V in SD N 20 KuraoPagang and the lack of use of IT based technology in the IPS learning process in SD N 20 KuraoPagang even though the complete infrastructure is available.Therefore, the preparation of learning media is the responsibility of educators. One of them is preparingIPS learning media.The purpose of this research is to produceIPS learning media based onMacromediaFlash 8on class V SD N 20 KuraoPagangthat meet the valid and practical criteria. This type of research is development research. The development research model used is a 4-D development model that is define, design, develop, and disseminate. In this study only to develop stage due to time constraints. This research was carried out in the even semester of 2017/2018 school year with the material struggle of the fighters in the Dutch and Japanese colonization. The research instrument includes validation sheets and practicality sheets (teacher and student response questionnaires). In the validation process, the media was validated by 1 material expert and 1 media expert. In the practicality process, the media was piloted by 1 teacher and 19 students.Based on the results of the study, the development ofIPS learning mediain class V based on MacromediaFlash 8 was produced to meet very valid criteria with an assessment percentage of 91.1%, which means that the Macromedia Flash 8 basedIPS learning mediain grade V SD developed has met the very valid criteria so that it can be used. without revision as aIPS learning media for fifth grade. And meet the very practical criteria with a percentage of 93.6%, which means that the MacromediaFlash 8 basedIPS learning mediafor grade V elementary school which was developed is very practical to be used as IPS learning media in elementary schools.The suggestion in this study is that the MacromediaFlash 8basedIPS learning mediain grade V SD can be further developed by media makers, both researchers and teachers. IPS learning media based on MacromediaFlash 8 class V SD can be continued by other researchers at the next stage. But what must be considered is the supporting facilities in schools, such as computer laboratories, speakers, and others that can support the use of this media. Keywords: Development,IPSLearning Media, Macromedia Flash 8
