Abstrak
This researcher is motivator by the result of observasion made by the author date 3 february 2017 in class V up to 29 clans of the padang reef in learning IPA, the teacher’s descripction is still using the cerama method. The outhor also sees teachers not using the media in the learning process. This resulted in students feeling less interested in the learning material presented by the teachers. The aim of this researcher is to find out the learning outcomes of IPA berween increased activity and class V student learning outcomes on IPA learning with picture an picture models at 29 the coral reef north of padang. This type of reseacrh is PT. In this is the application of the model picture and picture while the dependent variable is the resuit of learning IPA. The population of research was all students of class V SDN 29 Ulak Karang Utara Padang in the 2017/2018 academic year there were 20 students. The data analyzed in this study in the result of learning the cognitive domains collected through objective tests.
           The result showed that there was an increase in activity and learning outcomes students in class V in learning IPA with the model picture and picture on 29 coral reef nort of padang. This can be seen from the acqusition of the average value of cyclle 140% with an average value of 73,75 in increases in cycle II to 75% with an average value 79,55.
           So it can be cocluded that the model of picture and picture is better than serama. Looking at the results of this study the model picture and picture need to be opplied and developed in order to achieve optimal learning outcomes.
