Application of Problem Posing learning model type Pre-solution Posing in Grade VIII Student Mathematics Learning at SMPN 3 Pariaman
Abstrak
The low mathematical value of grade VII student’s of SMPN 3 Pariaman is the background of this study, including due to the learning in which the teacher is still the main center, low activeness and student participation in the learning process. This can be overcome by the pre-solution posing type problem posing model.
All grade VIII of SMPN 3 Pariaman in 2018/2019 school year totaling grade seventh became the population in this study. Class VIII.1 consists of 32 experimental class student and VIII.2 consists of 32 control class student’s.
Observasion sheets are used as data for student learning activities in the experimental class. Student activities every meeting in the experimental class generally tend to increase at each meeting. In accordance with the data of student’s mathematics learning outcomes in the sample class, t test is used with the level of α obtained 4,0419 and 1,6885, meaning 1,6885 so that proposed hypothesis is accepted. The conclusion is that learning outcomes with the pre-solution posing type problem posing model are better than learning outcomes that use ordinary learning.
From this study, the researcher suggested that the mathematics teacher at SMP 3 Pariaman could use the model as an effort to make learning more active and to improve student’s mathematical values.
