PENINGKATAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL COOPERATIVE SCRIPT PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPSDI SD NEGERI 08 BARINGIN KECAMATANKOTO TANGAH PADANG
Abstrak
The background of this research is the lack in IV grades student’s learning interest for IPS subject. This poor performance is caused by many students pile into class when learning process is going on, and also teachers usually use speech method which is boring. Teachers rarely use media in learning process. The purpose of this research is to enhance the interest of IV grades students to make resumes, response to discussion, answer the question by using cooperative script model in IPS subject. The problem in this research is lack of initiate from student in questioning and answering, and when students didn’t seem listen to their teacher and cannot answer questions. This research is class measuring research that consists of two cycles. Subject in this research is students of IV grades. Based on analysis results of observation sheets, average percentage of students interest is 37.87% in first cycle, while in second cycles average percentage is 76.50%. Based on results, it can be conclude that student’s interest in learning of IPS subject for student of IV class SDN 08 Baringin Koto Tangah district Padang can be increased by cooperative script model.
