PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA MELALUI STRATEGIGENIUS LEARNING DI KELAS IV SDN 18 2X11 KAYU TANAM KABUPATEN PADANG PARIAMAN

Abstrak

The purpose of this research is to describe the increasing of student’s activity in questioning, answering, observing sketch, and writing the observation in IV class SDN 18 12x11 Kayu Tanam by using genius learning strategy. This research is class measuring research. Data that collected in this research were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Strategy that is used in this research is genius learning strategy. Data were collected by using observation sheet of teacher’s activity and student’s activity. This research was performed in even semester. Results show the increasing in student’s activity in each cycle. In first cycle of research, percentage of student for questioning, answering, observing sketch, and writing the observation is 31.81%, 52.27%, 43.17%, and 51.69% respectively. There is an increasing in percentage of student for questioning, answering observing sketch, and writing the observation that are 74.99%, 90.9%, 81.81%, and 82.37% in second cycles of research. Average student’s activity in first cycle of research is 51.69%, while in second cycles it is rise into 82.37%. Based on the analysis, it can be conclude that genius learning strategy can increase student’s activity. It is suggested that teacher can increase student’s activity in IPA subject’s learning with genius learning strategy.
