Speaking says the reading where speaking requires clear, precise, critical articulation a nd is able to convey the meaning of the reading that will make the way the student speaks becomes clear and meaningful so that it reaches the listener. The use of models in the learning process has significant significance. Learning models are plans or concepts to help students in the learning process and understand learning easily. By using the model in learning, students are able to express themselves without any shame, so that students can actively speak in front of the class and in his seat so that it raises courage in him and the student's learning outcomes can be achieved completeness. One of them is by using role playing learning models in Indonesian language learning.

This research uses experimental research. According to Sugiyono (2009: 72), "Experimental research is conducted in a laboratory while naturalistic / qualitative research is carried out under natural conditions. In experimental research there is treatment (treatment), while in naturalistic research there is no treatment ". The population of the research was 59 students in grade III SDN 24 Parupuk Tabing, namely class IIIa 28 people and IIIb 31 people and the sampling technique was purposive sampling. The instrument used in the study is the test of learning outcomes given to both classes, namely experiment and control.

The average of the final test results of students in the experimental class was 82.64 and in the control class 75.93 with the Hypothesis Test level obtained t count> t table where 2.37> 2.00 thus H1 working hypothesis was accepted and H0 was rejected, which was proven with a significant level (a) = 0.05, this means that there are significant differences in the learning outcomes of students who use the role playing learning model on the results of learning to speak in the Indonesian Language Subject class III SDN 4 Parupuk Tabing Padang.

Based on the results of the research obtained, it was concluded that there was an effect of role playing learning model on the results of learning to speak in Indonesian Language Subjects of third grade students of SDN 24 Parupuk Tabing, Koto Tangah District, Padang. So that the model can be applied to achieve optimal speaking learning outcomes at the school.
