PENGGUNAAN MODEL NUMBERED HEAD TOGETHER(NHT) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS IVSDN 15 KAMPUNG BARU DI SOLOK SELATAN

Abstrak

The  research  is motivated  because  education  is  an  activity  to  develop  all  aspects  of
human personality implemented in the classroom or outside the classroom. One of the science
to be  learned  is  IPS. The  low  scores  for  students  in  learning when  the  teacher  explains  the
lesson because they, and still there are some students who do not pay attention. Based on the
observation  also  seen  students who  are  still  passive  in  learning. The  impact  of  the  lack  of
student activity  is also seen  in  the  low exam  results MID. This  research was performed  two
cycles PTK. Subjects were  fourth grade  students numbering 16 people. Research conducted
semester academic year 2012/2013. The research instrument was a student activity sheets and
teacher observation and student learning outcomes. Based on the analysis of student learning
outcomes  cycle  I  gained  as much  as  69%. And  the  average  value  obtained  for  observation
activity sheets and student teachers enough. Cycle II, the average percentage of students who
completed the learning outcomes by 87%. And for the observation sheet activities and student
teachers  are  good  and  very  good.  This  means  that  the  implementation  of  social  studies
learning  through NHT  is going well. Concluded  that social studies  lesson with NHT models
can improve student learning outcomes. It is recommended that teachers can use NHT models
as an alternative to creating an effective learning environment and fun.
