Student learning outcomes of grade IV SDN 48 Ganting Padang in UTS Odd
2017/2018 academic year are mostly still under KKM. One of the causes is that
students lack focus in learning because they talk and disturb their peers when the
teacher explains the material. In addition students lack confidence in expressing
opinions, asking questions, and doing exercises individually. So that students are
more enthusiastic and responsive to learning mathematics, then one solution is
that the teacher presents learning with the Team Games Tournamet (TGT) type of
cooperative learning model.
The type of research used is experimental research. The population in this study
were grade IV students of SDN 48 Ganting Padang in the academic year of
2017/2018. The sample in this study is class IV.b as an experimental class and
class IV.a as a control class. Final tests consisting of 30 objective questions were
given in both sample classes to obtain data.
To test the hypothesis, the t-test is used at the level of ∠= 0.05. From the

The conclusions obtained are students 'mathematics learning outcomes that apply
the implementation of cooperative learning model type Team Games Tournament
(TGT) better than students' mathematics learning outcomes by applying
conventional learning to grade IV students of SDN 48 Ganting Padang.
