Effect of Cooperative Script Learning Model on Social Studies Learning Outcomes of Grade V Students of SDN 43 Sakura Dadok Tunggul Hitam Koto Tangah District, Padang City
Abstrak
World there is education. Education is essentially a human effort to humanize human beings themselves. In order for educational goals to be achieved, it is necessary to improve students 'ability to adjust to their environment by increasing students' ability to learn. IPS according to Susanto (2013: 137), science that examines various social and humanities disciplines and basic human activities that are scientifically packaged in providing insight and deep understanding to students, especially at the primary and secondary levels. The use of models in the learning process has significant significance. Learning models are plans or concepts to help students in the learning process and understand learning easily. By using a model in learning, it will help eliminate students' boredom in receiving lessons. One of them is by using cooperative script learning models in social studies learning.
This type of research is experimental research. Arifin (2012: 68) "Experimental research is a practical way to learn something by changing conditions and observing their effects on other things. In experimental research there is treatment (treatment), while in naturalistic research there is no treatment ".
The average final test results of students in the experimental class 80.00 and control class 72.83 with the Hypothesis Test level obtained tcount>ttable where (2,561> 2,002), as evidenced by the significant level (a) = 0,05 this means there is a significant difference towards social studies learning outcomes of students who use cooperative script learning models on social studies learning outcomes of grade V students of SDN 43 Sakura Dadok Tunggul Hitam Padang.
               Based on the research results obtained, it can be concluded that there is an influence of cooperative script learning model on social studies learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 43 Sakura Dadok Tunggul Hitam, Koto Tangah District, Padang City. So that the model can be applied and developed to achieve optimal social studies learning outcomes at the school.
