Abstrak

This research is motivated low yields fourth grade students of SDN 08 Pauh Duo. Formulation of the problem in this study is how improved student learning outcomes at the fourth grade social studies learning. The purpose of this research is to improve students' learning outcomes IPS using STAD learning model. This type of research is a classroom action research. Subjects of this study were fourth grade students numbering 16 people. The research instrument used in this study is a teacher activity sheets, student activity sheets, field notes, and the final test cycle. The results of each cycle seen improving student learning outcomes. At the end of the first cycle test results of students' mastery percentage 56.25%. While at the end of the second cycle of student learning outcomes completeness percentage increased to 87.5%. From the results obtained it can be concluded that the fourth grade social studies lesson with students in elementary school STAD model Pauh Duo 08 South Solok can improve student learning outcomes.
