PENINGKATAN MINAT DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA MELALUI STRATEGI MASTERY LEARNING PADA SISWA KELAS V SDN 14 LABAN KECAMATAN IV JURAI PESISIR SELATAN
Abstrak
The problem in this research contents is about the low of students interest in teaching learning process. The aim of this research is to describe improving of students motivation in teaching learning by using Mastery Learning Strategy. This research is done by two cycles which is each of cycle have three meetings. The kind of this research is classroom action research which the subject is the students V grades of SDN 14 Laban Kecamatan IV Jurai Pesisir Selatan with total number of students 22. The research intsrument that had been use is the observation sheet for observation the learning activity ofteacher and students interest,questionnaire, and also score of students’s test. Based on the result, gained average of study result in first cycle with the average value is 69.31%% with study total percentage 45.45%%, and the average value at second cycle is 90.90% with study total percentage 86.81%. Based on the analysis result of sheet for observation of students motivation, gained percentage average at the first cycle 67.42% and at second cycle 85.59%. It means, the implementation of classroom action research is reached by using Mastery Learning Strategy. Based on the result, the researcher concludes that teaching learning of Natural Science by using Mastery Learning Strategycan improve student’s interest and students score at V grade of SDN 14 Laban Kecamatan IV Jurai Pesisir Selatan. Based on conclusion above, the researcher hope the teacher can apply Mastery Learning Strategy in teaching learning of Natural Science.
