PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE SNOWBALL THROWING PADA SISWA KELAS V SDN 27 SAGO
Abstrak
This research is background by the lack of activity and learning outcomes IPA fifth grade students of SDN 27 Sago. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in activity and student learning outcomes in science teaching with models of Snowball Throwing in SDN 27 Sago. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which held in the second semester of the school year 2012/2013 in SDN 27 Sago South Coastal District. Subjects were 27 fifth grade students of SDN Sago South Coastal District, amounting to 25 students. The study consisted of two cycles of meetings held twice each cycle. Research procedure consisted of four stages, namely (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The results showed an increase in activity of the first cycle of students meeting and the meeting I 64% II 72%. Cycle II meeting I 76% and 84% meeting II. Average student learning outcomes first cycle and second cycle 84.92 69.96. Implementation of the learning process of teachers also increased from 73.1 (first cycle) to 84.6 (second cycle). This means that the implementation of learning science using learning models snowball throwing is going well. Based on the results of this study concluded that the use of snowball throwing learning model to improve learning outcomes in science learning in class V SDN 27 Sago South Coastal District. The result is expected to be useful for teachers and readers in order to improve student learning outcomes in the classroom, while the students can be trained to socialize with friends.
