Development of interactive mathematics learning media using by Macromedia Flash 8 for Class III Students at SD Negeri 27 Sungai Sapih Padang

Abstrak

Learning is one of the processes to achieve educational goals. To create effective learning skills are needed in choosing learning media. The monotonous learning process and the absence of educators design interesting learning media and also do not optimize the use of instructional media so that educators deliver conventional subject matter which results in students having difficulty understanding abstract concepts. To overcome these problems, educators can use interactive mathematics learning media by using Macromedia Flash 8 for Class III students at SD Negeri 27 Sungai Sapih Padang. Based on this, the research was carried out with the title "Development of Interactive Mathematics Learning Media using Macromedia Flash 8 for Class III Students of SD Negeri 27 Sungai Sapih Padang".

This type of research is research and development (R & D). The development research model used is a 4-D model that is define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research reached the develop stage due to time constraints. Research instruments include validation sheets and practical questionnaires. Interactive mathematics learning media validated by 2 lecturers, and tested on 1 teacher and 23 students. The subjects that became the trial in this study were third grade students of SD Negeri 27 Sungai Sapih, Padang in the academic year 2018/2019 which amounted to 24 students. The type of data in this study are primary data, namely data obtained from lecturers, educators and students. The technique of collecting data through questionnaires (questionnaires). The instruments used in the data collection of this research are validation sheets and practical questionnaires.

The results showed the development of interactive mathematics learning media using macromedia flash 8 for third grade elementary school students fulfilling valid criteria with an evaluation percentage of 88.33%, and practical criteria with an evaluation percentage of 89%.

So, it can be concluded that the interactive mathematics learning media using Macromedia Flash 8 meets valid and practical criteria used by teachers and students in grade III elementary school.
