Abstrak

Thisresearchaimed 1) todescribe theactivity ofasking, 2) toincrease the activity ofdiscussion, researchthe researchers used inthis studyisaction research(PTK). Subjects inthis study werefourth gradestudentsSabbihismaPadang, totaling 24students. The research instrumentusing theobservationof student activitysheets, teacherobservation sheetactivityandachievement test. The resultscan be seenthe averagepercentage of70.83% activityaskedin the first cycleincreased to85.41% in the second cycle, discussingactivities66.66% in the first cycleincreased to85.41% in the second cycle. It can be concludedthatin learning sciencethroughthefiringlinestrategiescanimprovestudent learning activitiesspecificallyask questions and discussactivitiesin thefourth gradeSabbihismaPadang. Based on theresearch results, it is suggested thatteachers canimplementthestrategiesin thefiringlinewithgoodscience teachingin accordancewiththe material being taught.
