Developing Social Sciences Learning Modules Based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) in class V at 47 Korong Gadang District Elementary SchoolKuranji Padang
Abstrak
This research was motivated by the learning process of the teacher using only textbooks and theme books provided by the teacher. Teachers have not been able to develop teaching materials in the learning process so students quickly feel bored in learning takes place. The purpose of this study was to develop teaching materials in the form of learning modules IPS Problem Learning Basel (PBL) for fifth grade students of SD Negeri 47 Korong GadangKuranji District, Padang.
The formulation of the problem in this research is how to produce the development of IPS learning modules based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) in class V of 47 Korong Gadang Public Elementary School in Kuranji Padang Subdistrict that meets valid criteria? This study uses Research and Development (R & D) research. The development model used in developing modules based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) using the 3-D development model consists of 3 stages of development, namely define, design, and develop. From the results of validation carried out by 2 validators, namely from the display aspect get a percentage of 96.67% with the category "very valid" and from the material aspect get a percentage of 81.25% with the category "valid". Practical results carried out by teachers get 95% in the "very practical" category. The results of the assessment carried out by students during the trial will get a percentage of 87.86% in the "practical" category. From the description above, it can be concluded that the PBL-based IPS learning module can be used for students in the fifth grade of elementary school.
