PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA SISWA KELAS V DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA VIDEO DI SDN 35 PAGAMBIRAN PADANG

This research is motivated by the lack of speaking skills of fifth grade students at SDN 35 Padang Pagambiran. This is because the learning process is still accustomed to the teacher lecture and expect students sit down, shut up, listen, take notes, and memorize, so that the students' learning noisy and saturated. The purpose of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of the students' speaking skills by using Media Video in class V Pagambiran SDN 35 Padang. The theory used in the theory of Novi Resmini talk and theories used in the video media learning theory and Arief S. Azhar Arsyad Sadiman. Learning methods used in the method of lecture and discussion group. Instructional media used in this study is Media Video. Data were obtained using observation sheets teachers and students, and student worksheets. The results of each cycle showed an increase in students' ability to speak. Where, in the first cycle I meeting their speaking ability is 62 and increased to 67 in the first cycle II meeting. At the first meeting of the second cycle, 77 and increased to 80 in the second cycle II meeting. Based on the analysis of data, it can be concluded that the use of Media Video on learning can improve learning outcomes fifth grade students of SDN 35 Padang Pagambiran.
